Jenna Jameson welcomes twin boys

Update: Jenna and Tito have announced the names and weights of their newborn boys. Jesse Jameson Ortiz was born weighing 4 lbs, while brother Journey Jett Ortiz weighed 4 lbs, 11 oz.

A day after news of the birth of Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's twins Max and Bob we've learned that Jenna Jameson and her boyfriend, UFC star Tito Ortiz, have also welcomed twin boys.

Jenna and Tito's sons arrived this morning, 7 weeks ahead of their May 3rd due date. No details of the birth have been released but Jenna's rep says that the babies are "in very good health."

Jenna, a former adult entertainment star, endured fertility struggles before conceiving the twins. Ok, so the question was about the names, not about her past. I think it very telling how people are so quick to condemn her forget to even answer the question. The name Journey is ridiculous. As a teacher I see kids get ridiculed for stupid names daily. Kids can be mean and sometimes I wish parents wouldn give them the ammo! And as far as her past, it relevant for the same reason. Kids are way more technologically savvy than adults now and they mature (not the way we want them to) much faster than any of us did. Her past career would not help a child social development not in my experience anyway. Of course, I have never taught children of porn stars! However, these are Hollywood babies; and at least in my non Hollywood world, there isn a parent I can think of who wouldn disapprove of her past. In all honestly, these parents would probably want to protect their children from that aspect of our culture for as long as possible. Hollywood, though, is a very different place. Lastly, a few have commented about how members are bringing up God and they are upset about it. Technically, Jenna Jameson is the one who brought up God to begin with. Just my take.

At least Jenna is having her kids with 1 man, a man she is married to and in love with.

The couple have been granted temporary custody of Sunny, whose mom is in jail for tax evasion. Now a stepmom, Sandra says that the toughest gig motherhood has to offer.

"A life is a life. Whether or not it came from your body should be secondary, in my opinion. If tomorrow I got home and went: 'Oh my gosh, I'm pregnant' I'd be like: 'Wow! Isn't the Universe amazing?' But what I learnt was that it's being more of a parent to care for a child that's not yours. It's harder."

As for whether the temporary custody arrangement will become permanent, she says time will tell. If she and Jesse believe it in Sunny best interests to stay with them once her mom is released, it sounds as though a custody fight may result.

"Unfortunately, when there are entities involved that distort a person's reasoning the fight becomes ugly, Sandra says. hoping that at the end of this journey there won't be a fight any more and there will be care and safety and there will be harmony. There's not a quest to take her away. There's a quest for safety and if safety can be assured there should be harmony and evenness on both sides. And if it's not safe, [the present arrangement] is staying the way it is."

Raising another person child is an amazing and difficult thing. I was raised by my father second wife. I hesitate to call her my step mother, because in my heart she my mother. I can imagine how difficult it was for her, or any step parent, but so many children lives are made richer by them. Good job, Sandra Bullock, and all you other stepparents!

As far as people interest in the new brides plans to pro create, I feel that! I just found out that there was talk at my wedding as to if I was ALREADY pregnant. It just like when you have a baby, everyone wants to know when your going to have another one. What the heck is up with that!?!?!

And there really isn anything called old There have been people that had a baby when they were in their 40 50 and even 60 There shouldn be ANY pressure on someone to have a baby, if they don want to have a baby. CHOP CHOP, you only have until you 27 before your fertility begins to decline!!!!!

Cynthia, relax! People get so nasty in their comments. I agree, the woman is 44, not that it too old to procreate in a moral sense, but it is true that things don quite work as well as you get up in years. The younger you are, the more fertile. Unfortunately, because we spend so long in college and it takes us considerably longer to grow up in this day and age, many women aren until 35+, when it does get more difficult to get pregnant. Of course there are some women who do conceive in their 40s and higher. Having a child after 60, eh? All I will say to your point of having a child in your 60s is that by the time they graduate from high school, you are officially elderly and don have many years left. And, life expectancies being what they are, your husband may not live to see your child graduation! Mother Nature designed things so it easier to get pregnant when you are young and have lots of energy!

Why would you risk having a child that may lead a lifetime of medical problems when you can adopt one that needs a good home and your love? when it comes to that Are you trying to adopt? Because after 30 you already put yourself in pretty much the same stats as some at 44. I just think there is so little difference between 34 and 44 when trying to conceive (go to your gyno EVERY woman over 30 trying to conceive is considered maternal age that you honestly don have room to judge what is too old. MAny people probably think you too old when you far from. None of my friends had kids before 34/35 and majority are having them now in their late 30s/early 40s without any medical issues to mom or baby. Do I think like 60 is a little old to have a kid sure, but 44? No way.

I did not agree with Michelle comment either, and I not in my 40 I 23, married, and have two wonderful children. I don consider myself one of married at 19 kids by 20 miserable creatures that have done nothing but procreate so you feel the need to knock others I took serious offense to that comment, and I sure other younger mothers did as well. J you are quite incorrect when you say that after 30 you've already put yourself in pretty much the same stats as some at 44 35 year old woman has 1 in 400 chance in have a child with Down Syndrome. A 44 year old woman has a 1 in 35 chance of a child with Down Syndrome. That is an enormous difference! The people that you know who are in their late 30 and having no trouble conceiving are very lucky I know several women in my life who spent their last 5 years of their 30 trying to conceive unsuccessfully unfortunately, this is the norm your friends are not.

Also, my best friend in high school had a mom who was in her mid 60 and she had a very tough time with it people always asking her why her grandparents always came to her games and her parents never did. I not judging older parents, I just know that it can be very hard on the children especially being 28 and having to make end of life decisions with your parents.

J can I join your group of friends? I am the last one in my group to have a baby (37 w/ a 14 month old)! I have a great group of friends but sometimes I feel so old! On the flip side our finances are in really good shape so I could stay home w/ our son and not worry! Our only debt is a car payment and house payment. I sometimes wish my husband and I were younger but anyway we didn start dating until 28 and married at 30. I would rather be w/ my husband than have kids w/ some random guy at a younger age!

nothing but procreate as if procreation and motherhood is Are you a mother? If not, let me tell you a little something about being a mother. It more than procreation, as if your job ends when you push the baby out! There is a life to shepherd and raise! That is no small thing and is not exactly as easy as sitting on the couch and eating bon bons. And it more difficult and more important than working or getting an advanced degree or world traveling, or anything else a young woman could do.

Being a mother is the single most fulfilling and challenging job there is. Young mothers have more challenges ahead than more mature women, and those who do a good job are more skilled that most CEOs!

You right, 44 is not old, in terms of life expectancy and things to accomplish. But as anyone with a newborn will tell you, it tiring. Better to be younger and have lots of years to chase your kids around. And whoever said it is correct; your chances of having a child with Down is higher. And, like it or not, it is much harder to conceive as you get older. That is just a fact of nature.

I was 30 when I had my first and wish I started earlier. I understand some women don get married until well into their 30s. But there is no need to look down upon women who start young just because of their age. They have experienced more of than the rest of us!

Yep, I a mom, but more than just a mom. That right, I said a mom I wanted to achieve things college, house, finances, find the right person. I chose not to limit myself to only marriage and children so that I didn wind up like others in my family/life that married had children at very young ages. I wanted a better life for me and my childre. The best way to provide for your children is to make a strong foundation built on education for yourself. And that takes time.

As for tiredness in conjunction with age I think that depends on your own personal physical and mental health it varies from person to person. I have just as much energy in both departments, if not more, than when I was in my 20s. ALL moms younger and older are tired after chasding kids thats just the way it is.

Who are any of you to judge. This is ridiculous. At least, unlike most 17 year olds, Jamie Lynn is able to provide for her child in a way that many parents cannot do. She is young, yes, but age does not determine your ability to be a good mother. Usually what makes a young age hard is that they are still in school, money is tight, and the support system is not as available. She will have her GED, she has plenty of money, and a career, and a family support system as well as the ability to hire any extra help she may need. Now, if she has the child and we see that she is not being a good parent maybe we can say something then, but since she announced her pregnancy she has done nothing but to show us her responsibility and maturity. And don go firing back with stuff about if she was responsible, she wouldn have gotten pg. Even responsible women in ther 20 30 and 40 can get pregnant accidentally. Why is it a when you are over 18 and an mistake when you are under 17?

1. She is not the 1st teen to get pregnant and want be the last so cool off on the whole being 17yrs old and being pregnant mess.

2. She and her family has the money to take care of this child and that is all that matters that when this child come he or she is tooken care of properly. Last time I checked NONE of us on here have to help take care of the child.

Teenage moms make it everyday, I agree with that but at the same time I won let my daughter watch her b/c I don want her to idealize a pregnant teen and go out with the intent to be just like her. A lot of youth are very impressionable and she is very popular. And she may be the best mom, we can say, I hope she is, my prayers are with her. But let not put her on display for all our daughters to see and say, well my mom doesn have a problem with it. And quite frankly you don know what you would do until it you or your daughter in the situation, so we can really judge unless we have been there. My hats off to all the teenage moms who are and have made it, God is with you! But as a mom I don want my daughter to have to take on the responsibility of a child when she should be out cheerleading and being a kid herself.

First of all, being a good, responsible teenage parent is a minority in this country. And if you so happen to be one, good for you. But defending MOST teenage moms is ridiculous! If they can even be responsible enough to not get pregnant in the first place ( how freaking hard is it to get birth control in this day and age, really! And if you can get it maybe you shouldn have sex) How can you ensure that they be responsible enough to take care of a child? That kid is just lucky that his mom is more privledged than most. Just look around and you can see the majority of single women on welfare, or in shelters are teen moms. I worked for the Gov. in that dept and saw the lack of responsibility in most teen parents, and how those poor babies suffered, and what a horrible cycle it begins. Jamie Lynn situation is NOT reality here. Kudos for all the good moms out there no matter what age,I myself am young at 23, married at 20, with a beautiful 7 mnth old, but be realistic about teen moms here. Everyone just needs to calm down and look at the facts. And for the record, who ever said that everyone makes mistakes is right about that, no one is without fault, but children shoud never be a mistake.

My own personal opinion, here definitely not the first teenager to get pregnant. She very well off financially, but let face facts money may provide material necessities for a child, but being 17 and under as much stress as she is (famous, over scrutinized for being, well, almost 17!, etc), it not going to be easy for her. I not one to judge, so I have nothing but well wishes for her.

The bottom line is, she is who she is and she in the situation she in. No amount of speculation on the general publics part is going to change anything.

My only objection to anything voiced here is the defense mechanism some parents have regarding her status. Yes, she is a worship icon in Tweenland, but if you talking to your child(ren) about sex like you should be, and voicing your concerns and straight lining the facts on teen sex and pregnancy, then your child should have no problem making good decisions. I don know any 12 16 year old girl (and I know plenty of them) who has a plan to be like Jamie Lynn! and in the family way. Most teens will surprise you if you talk to them comment >

1st thing why are any of you even judging her to begin with Just because shes a celebrity well thats bull shes still a person and obviously if she thought she had made a mistake she would have dealt with the situation as if it were a mistake but shes not but all of you are

2nd so shes 16 and pregnant well my sister was 16 when she got preg with her first child and she was completly out of control but now she has 3 living beautiful girls and 1 that was a still birth and a boy on the way and to be honest she is the best mohter i have ever seen she got her ged went through childhood development courses and now works in a day care making a heck of alot of money

So being young does NOT determine being a good mother or not Its the fact that if you want the child and are willing to settle down to be a parent I think that is what should be determined I applaude Jamie Lynn cause how many 16 yr old have 300k to spend on a home she has money and family and alot of love to offer this baby

It is extremely sad that Jamie Lynn is so young having this baby. Money is fine and will help her in the long run. My question is how has money helped her sister who lost custody of her children? Jaime being pregnant is a clear reflection on her parents parenting skills. One daughter, who was introduced to child stardom, married and had children at an acceptable age and look how her life is spiraling down to hell. On the other hand, look at the other daughter who put herself in a situation that she has to mature sooner then necessary. Statistically speaking teenage parents don make good parents because they lack maturity. And when you put yourself in a situation to be in the public eye, no matter your age, you should accept accountability for your actions. 16 pregnant is way too young. Her action should not be pacified because she is a celebrity. She is no role model for my children.

Well I not a welfare/kid popping/stupid to be a teenage mom we should look at education through our own parents, through our families and THEN through our schools our kids are allowed to have kids because we let them be unsupervised called group dating, parents being involved, shared responsibility between the adults that have the teens stop spending so much time working or playing on the computer and take your kids out and do things with them no matter how much money there is the issue is education. Maybe she won be a rolemodel to all of your girls but at some point, we have to recognize the mistake and work around it. Now, we have a 16 year old girl who is famous, pregnant and has a sister who just lost her kids. Honestly, she shouldn be trying to buy a house yet what 16 year old buys a house?! She should be living at home with parents or emancipate her and let her and her man get married so they can take care of themselves without being a burden to the family. Would that be possible? I can tell you from experience, age is not a good determining factor for whether or not someone will be a good parent. My husband and I grew up REAL FAST when we had our daughter almost 11 years ago. We grew up even more when she started to get sick and needed surgeries. We were 17 at the time, and we handled it very responsibly, if I may say so. We now have 2 more kids and couldn be happier.

On the other hand, we have a family member who 33 and can act adult enough to take care of her kids. In fact, because she couldn stand up and say to her husband, she just given birth to the second of 2 children she didn want. Don get me wrong, he not abusive in any way. She just wouldn tell him she didn want any kids. She much rather whine to the rest of us about her tough life and how she lost her identity. If you ask me, she never had one to begin with, but that another story I said, age isn the only thing to look at. Maturity plays a big role too.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention: ever since our kids started asking questions, (where do babies come from, etc.), we been very straightforward with them (though age appropriate). Our daughter, who is almost 11, knows that we were young and weren married yet when she was born. She also knows that we expect her to wait until she married, and WHY. I shared with her about how it changed our lives, having her so young, and why we want her to do more with her life before she decides to become a parent. She has great grades and wants to be a vet, and we fully encourage her to be whatever she wants to be. When our sons are older, they get the same information. I wish my parents had been that open with me. Maybe I have waited.

I think the best way to teach is when you can turn your own story into a lesson for your kids. Maybe the cycle will stop with one generation.

Yea ive watched Jamie Lynn on zoey 101 its still one of my favorite shows and im alittle disapointed that she is pregant and that its affecting her career but this is her life and like i said b4 she is stepping up and taking resposiblity and that shows maturity she is willing to give up her career and stardome to be a mother
